In order to enhance overall patient demographic data quality, Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Foundation Trust have implemented the Egress Spine Mini Services Interface; providing the trust with a tool to automate NHS number allocation and verification as well as conducting demographic data quality validation and monitoring.

The assured implementation process has allowed the Trust to deploy the service in a rapid, yet safe manner; and with the assistance of Egress Integration experts, successfully integrate the solution into their existing infrastructure.

Through the use of the Egress Spine Mini Services Interface the Trust are now in a position to; achieve benefits in overall patient care through the use of a better quality of data; improve the ability and effectiveness of future Community and Social Care integration projects and avoid any potential fines from commissioners owing to poor data quality.
