MigRec
MigRec is used to ensure employees that are migrated from any legacy payroll system into any target payroll system (including Oracle HRMS) are paid consistently on both systems. It provides hard, decision making evidence of a successful data migration.

MigRec takes the results from a legacy payroll run and compares these to a payroll run from the target system (including Oracle HRMS) following the migration of data. It details all allowances and deductions highlighting any anomalies found.
As well as ensuring that employees receive the same allowances and deductions in both systems, MigRec also compares the statutory balances migrated into the target system, against the legacy P35/P14 reports. This verifies that the data extracted from legacy is correct and that it has been successfully migrated to the target system. It is imperative that the statutory balances extracted at the end of a legacy systems life are accurately loaded into the target system at the point of its commission into live service. MigRec provides this peace of mind.
MigRec is used throughout the test phases of a migration project and allows the migration project team to clearly identify which employees are migrating correctly (i.e. they are paid the same and hold the same statutory balances in both systems) and which are not. Identifying and rectifying the reasons that may cause incorrect payments in the target system before go-live is key to the success of any payroll migration.
MigRec visually compares the two sets of payroll data, at individual employee level, for an organisation and presents the results on a clear and simple user interface. From the summary level screen it is possible to drill down to see the individual payslip comparison. MigRec has in the past identified inaccuracies in payments made by the legacy systems!
There are several search functions provided that allow specific issues, that may exist across the organisation, to be summarised and reported upon. It is possible to export details of issues requiring further investigation into a customer’s preferred database or spreadsheet application.
